I like that it has a bottle connector. You can pour water into a bottle and use it. I see videos of people bending down in streams to use the "straw" filter. It never appealed to me. I can't imagine a hike and have to bend down and drink. Or use a bucket or something similar. Drink up. It's not portable, practical, or lightweight. And when we travel through Wales, my home country. There are sheep in the wild and I don't feel like getting drunk from the river, bending over and sticking my butt out like a sheep's target to bang my head in the river. Or in America, lie with your head in the river and drink while the bear decides if I'll be his next meal. I can draw water with it. In a bottle, look around and get going. Sure, or turn it upside down and drain into a mug. Or just have a drink. I have one regret. I didn't buy more as I thought it would be good to try. In the sale. But now the price has risen again and is slightly out of my reach. I am willing or able to spend. So I regret that I should have received 4 packs and not one. In general I would say. Good product, well built and the bottle mount is worth it.
