Originally bought in hopes it would make a great addition after seeing a similar product in a commercial light display. My bet on three 12" balls and three 6" balls earned me several "Gold Stars" as soon as my wife saw and used them! In fact, she wants to extend her use a few weeks beyond my Christmas lights. Pros: Easy to install and ready to use; Initially, 110-120VAC must be used to charge the battery; also water-repellent outdoors (used for about three weeks in the rain in Georgia); Easily change colors and flash patterns with the remote (5-year-old grandson loved it); different colors pleasantly bright for night use thanks to translucent plastic; The balls (flat bottomed to keep them in place and also where the controls are) seem strong enough to withstand a light drop/limited rough handling. Cons: Lots of shelf space for off-season storage; Shorter than expected electrical wire connections forced me to experiment with my main wires. Expectation: Longevity, need to see how long they live; how easy it is to stay clean; any discolouration. After I stop using them and prepare them for storage, problems may arise (water ingress, wear and tear, etc.). These products met all my expectations and I was very happy with the purchase. As expected, the Revain process (search, checkout, order, tracking, etc.) was great.
