These headphones are excellent, and they come out on top in terms of price, construction, and sound quality. When one of them breaks, I replace it with an identical replacement. The sound quality is excellent, very clear, and it has decent bass. Due to the fact that I am not an audiophile, I am unable to provide a thorough study; however, I will offer a few thoughts. Since my Sennheiser headphones offer a more natural sound in terms of balance, it is more convenient for me to mix in them; but, it is not very convenient to listen to music in them because there is not enough bass. They let me sit in Monster Beats, despite the fact that the bass is too prominent for my taste. The term koss refers to the ideal balance. Excellent assembly, everything is simple and straightforward, there is nothing unnecessary, and there is nothing that may break (as long as you don't leap on them by accident, like I did once:) You are able to purchase additional ear pads, and I believe that you are able to purchase another wire. Everything is fairly easily soldered together, and a friend of mine repaired them for me once. Weak places everywhere, especially in the wiring. In the vicinity of the plug, at the point where the wire is attached to the headphones, and in the exact center of the headphone cord, where it splits. It is important to keep in mind that their sound insulation is very poor; as a result, you are able to hear everything that is going on around you, and those around you are frequently able to hear what is playing in your ears. Although I would not characterize this as a drawback, traveling with them in crowded public transportation, for instance, can be challenging.
