They're great for keeping bugs off porch lights
We bought these because at our country home, a lot of bugs are attracted to a regular lightbulb on our porch. You couldn't even get near the light without being bombarded by flying bugs and the porch was full of critters too. This light completely solved that problem and we like the soft glow because it's nice on your eyes and bright enough to illuminate an area. Very happy with this purchase.
