Good fusible material that adds volume and softness to projects

I bought this product specifically to make a pliable pouch and some sweet pea pods designed by Joan Hawley in her craft class, because I needed a low volume fusible fleece. (She recommends another product, but this worked well.) Instructions for using fusible links include one for light binding and one for extra strong binding, which requires a damp cloth; both use the steam/wool iron setting. The fleece was easy to work with and sew, and gave some density to the sewn pieces. The bag had a zipper and the fleece didn't add much bulk. In fact, it might have made attaching the zipper a little easier. because it offers a certain stability. The finished lined bag I made is not rigid but still stands on its own without sagging. You can actually take a bag and lightly mash it in your hand. I use a case to store my USB charging cables and headset which I just want to hide in one place (instead of a plastic zip case) so I don't need a hard fleece for protection. I'm very happy with this melt fleece and will soon be using it again for a few more fiber bags. I also plan to use this fleece when making kidney cushions for my dining room chairs, as it softens the edges and eliminates any possibility of clumping of the fiberfill padding. I will also use it to make outdoor furniture cushions because of the same properties. Being 100% polyester, it dries quickly. Now that I think about it
