As a newbie to cloth diapers I decided to just try them out instead of buying a sprayer or bucket. Yes, it may not be what everyone needs and you can do well without it (disposable pads, rinsing, mopping, etc.). However, I have found that I NEED it. It has made my life a lot easier. Getting my mother-in-law on board with cloth diapers was easy (she babysats my daughter for a week). However, I didn't want her to have to deal with the dirty side. I gave her enough wet packs for three days so she could feed me diaper poo every day. Working 10-hour shifts, waking up twice a night, and not having enough time to eat simply saved time and clutter. I also bought a spray bucket (which I also highly recommend). It was so easy to hook up - I did it myself! Just follow the instructions and use the rubber shims they give you or there may be leaks. I love the included hanging hook that literally just hangs from the toilet lid. Also, one last tip: turn off the water supply to the toilet after each use, otherwise a puddle may form on the bathroom floor. It took me twice to realize that this was the culprit. I thought I was just overdoing it with the sprayer.
