Good switch, But no cables included

I purchased the 100 amp switch. That's my feedback! I am happy with the switch, though disappointed that it did not come with the cables.

Pros
  • Works as expected
Cons
  • The 20-inch length may not be sufficient for some applications, requiring additional cables to be purchased

I am very pleased with this switch

This Switch actually works as described. I was using a switch that was 3 times the price, and it did't hold up as well as this unit does. I am very pleased with this switch.

Pros
  • works good does what it is supposed to plastic is durable
Cons
  • The cables are susceptible to corrosion and rusting, shortening their lifespan

Good looking switch but the terminal size required to fit on the screws is way to small for anything close to being 50A rated. Fortunately, I am only using it for 30A max.

Pros
  • Great quantity does the work that is supposed to do
Cons
  • The Copper material can be difficult to work with and bend, causing frustration during installation

Great battery disconnect.

Works as described. The switch is well made with heavy contacts, and a nice smooth action when operating the switch The lugs may not fit snugly on some battery terminals, leading to power loss and inefficiency.

Pros
  • This versatile copper battery inverter cable can be used for both solar and marine applications, making it a great choice for people who enjoy outdoor activities
Cons
  • The lugs may not fit snugly on some battery terminals, leading to power loss and inefficiency

very light weight.: my feedback

i didnt realize how light weight this switch is. it really dont think it would work as a cut off switch from a battery to starter. feels flimsy too. i sent it back without using it.

Pros
  • The 6 AWG thickness ensures that the cable is suitable for current flows of up to 200A, making it ideal for high-load situations
Cons
  • The cables may not be compatible with certain types of inverter systems, limiting their usefulness

great switch - my new review

I installed this on my boat and I have had a few friends get this switch and install them on there boats so its a good switch and its a good way to keep your devices from draining your battery

Pros
  • The 20-inch cable length provides a good balance between flexibility and durability, making it ideal for a wide range of applications
Cons
  • The cables are prone to kinking, which can compromise their safety and reliability

Great product and appears OEM!

The product came in exactly as expected! I researched the cable and it is rated properly with the switch. I installed this on my Zero Turn to isolate the battery in down times. Works like a charm and looks like it came with the mower! Thanks for the great product!

Pros
  • The use of pure copper as the wire material ensures that the cable will perform well over a long period of time, without corroding or breaking easily
Cons
  • The copper material may attract unwanted attention, making it a potential target for theft

Stopped working after less than 6 months

The switch stopped working around 4 months in. Always on, doesn’t switch off. Replacing with a Blue Sea Systems switch, which I should have used in the first place.

Pros
  • Batteries & Accessories
Cons
  • The cables are prone to tangling, making storage and organization a challenge

About caused a fire.

Main failed hooking it up and about fried my battery.Everything else was wired currently and the switch was bad. I havnt tried a second copy yet

Pros
  • Worked well on my 1953 Ford tractor for a master cut off switch.
Cons
  • The weight of the cables can be burdensome during installation, causing fatigue and discomfort

Crazy how light duty the 100amp switch is - no way could you get battery cables on it. Tiny posts. Worst thing though was the actual twisting on/off switch, it's removable so you can disable the switch and take it with you. Maybe a great feature for some things, but not on a boat battery where the switch toggle can pop off and fall down into the bilge area! Wasted my money.

Pros
  • Fast works great
Cons
  • The lugs are prone to bending and breaking, making them unreliable

but it works great, and when my portable power pack is not .

a bit pricey, but it works great, and when my portable power pack is not in use, or say in the back of my truck I can remove the knob to ensure that it will not be accidentally turned on, or left on.

Pros
  • This is amazing. Works great.
Cons
  • The price is higher compared to other cables of the same quality, making it prohibitively expensive for some consumers

Easy to install high amperage 12 volt switch

I really like this switch for 12 volt 60 amp circuits. Solid construction easy to install and use. Does not get the least bit warm under full load. I don’t know the long term usability but so far so good

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • The cost of the product outweighs the benefits for some consumers, making it a poor investment

Terminals a bit small, switch a bit flimsy

Overall, it is a nice and compact switch, which is why I purchased it over other types of switches. I'm sure it can handle the amperage internally in the switch, but the terminals themselves are pretty small making it hard to find the properly sized splice for the gauge of wire.Additionally, the switch cover it self has too much play for my liking. It hasn't broken yet, but it doesn't inspire confidence.

Pros
  • The solar lugs included with the cable make it easy to connect to solar panels and other photovoltaic systems, allowing for efficient power conversion and distribution
Cons
  • The cables may become damaged during transportation, leading to delays or added expenses

Get something else!

Useless. Did not come with the wires it says are included. No installation instructions. Nothing. Not worth the money if you ask me.

Pros
  • Worked great
Cons
  • Not well built
