Review on Leviton 1 Toggle 1 Decora Combination Wallplate Electrical by William Obong

One of the two panels in the two pack is cracked around the perimeter of the Decora side making installation nearly impossible. When I opened the package and realized I already had two switches installed that were supposed to cover these wall panels and didn't want to leave them open to wait for a replacement, I just went to my local big store where I bought a replacement (exactly the same, Leviton brand) for 98 cents. I ordered the wall panels from Revain for convenience so they arrive around the same time as the counter but it ended up being a waste of money as I had to drive to the store anyway. Of course, I won't spend any more time returning a $3.50 item, but in general I don't recommend buying a cheap, flimsy, brittle piece of plastic from Revain if there's a hardware store nearby that does (a) you can inspect it to make sure it doesn't tear; and (2) pay significantly less: This item is so cheap that shipping costs dominate. And, Leviton, you need to make your wall panels less fragile. The replacement I bought also cracked, this time when I was tightening the screw to hold it in place. Fortunately, in this case the tear was small and, unlike the previous one, did not prevent me from completing the installation. Rather than going back to the store I just left everything as is as the crack is barely visible and the switch is in the basement where aesthetics aren't that important.
