Very light and good shoe for parents looking for minimalistic sandals. Zero drop, wide toe box, flexible outsole. I think I appreciated it because the reviews said they run small. I would say they are a little loose because of this, but they still fit well and have room to grow. I hate massive, heavy winter boots. We usually wear minimalist shoes and this was the best price on a kid's minimalist winter boots, minimalist winter boots are hard to find anyway so this was great value for money. I wanted a minimalist shoe, not only for proper foot development, but also because we plan on winter hiking. I didn't want my six year old boy wearing heavy boots when trying to walk in the snow. My only criticism is the laces. There is no switch to tighten them. I cut them off and add a hook so they can be securely attached to the legs.
