Good product, just want more to come.

Good product, wish there was more in the package. 10 kilos go away quickly when filling the suitcase. I use it for my king snake and it works great without staining the animal.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • Expensive

The sand is mixed with the kite.

I really liked the sand and my bearded dragon looked at it too, loved looking at her face as she rearranged her aquarium. This black sand mixed with another color gave it a scheme mix, basically a new look, a swirling edge.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • There are cons

beautiful sand for the terrarium bedding, sand and substrate

I have to give 5 stars because it's fine sand and my hermit crabs love it. However, it was damn expensive. I had to buy five bags to fill the krabitata. Next time I'll just play with the sand or steal it from a public beach.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cute but not practical

This black sand is ideal as a filling between the slabs of slate in my terrarium. However, I don't think I would use it for the entire product in theirs. My beard covers her whole face and is very difficult to get rid of. White sand doesn't do this, so bear that in mind when purchasing.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Secret

Ideal for light colored reptiles!

Our leopard geckos look much better on this black sand and seem to love it. I highly recommend this color if you have lighter patterned reptiles. Our Pale Brown Patterned 8" Desert Gecko, Zim, used to get lost in the white sand, but now he's become the center of his terrarium!

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Very expensive

Looks nice but can make your animals dirty!

I bought this sand because it contrasts nicely with the red rocks in my naturalistic terrarium. It's certainly visually stunning, but it has a few functional issues: - It can get very dusty. Cleaning linens is no fun task. The black pigment transferred to my bearded dragon coloring her paws and tail. I ended up moving him to another aviary with no substrate and he shed a couple of times but he still had black pigments. There is always a risk of crushing with this substrate, so I ended up moving

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Disappear
