Simple but works!

My husband has put so many lights on the Christmas tree that we decided to store it upright hoping it will brighten it up next year. First we tried an expensive bag but it wasn't big enough and we finally gave up. I stumbled across this one and the cheap price made me think it was worth the risk. Our tree is 9 x 5 so you can compare it to yours. It's basically a giant, rectangular, sturdy plastic bag. Looking at the example photo it looks like they put the bag on from below - I don't know how they did that with the kickstand on the go. We ended up putting it up a tree and pulling the bag down from all sides until it was completely covered. It may also be that our tree is quite wide and the branches hang quite low; They kept flapping around while we tried to cover them. For that reason, it was definitely a two-person job; I can't imagine doing this alone. Even then, it slipped relatively easily compared to the expensive one we tried. What we got wrong: FIRST uncover the tree wherever you plan to store it because once it's covered there's no real way to comfortably move it. ; no handles, straps etc. We stupidly didn't think ahead and it ended up falling apart in our pocket while we were carrying it. We fixed it, but what a pain! Pros: It does what it's supposed to - it covers our tree from top to bottom and meets our expectations for width and height. This protects our tree from dust etc. and that's all we need. For the price you can't beat it. Cons: The branches caught on the plastic causing a few tears here and there. So it's a cover, but don't expect greater protection. You still need to find a way to close it - we used a large bandage. It looks pretty messy, but then again it's probably just us for carrying it up the stairs to our pantry and our ridiculously wide/low branches. I regret the purchase. I can't rate it higher because I don't think it's very durable, but for the money it met our expectations and I have no problem buying another one in the future.
