Clogged printer parts and accessories

Need to clean the printheads several times, only for black every other day. No joke. It's quicker for my kids to go to their friend's house and print it out and then wait for housekeeping to fix it. I'm wasting all my ink that was $113 for a set of 4. HP, what's wrong with overpriced ink and trying to fix problems faster? There are no problems with the other three colors.
