Luster for untarnished copper. Ineffective Tarnish Remover

Evo Dyne Copper & Brass Polish is advertised for use on brass, copper, tin, bronze and chrome. Ordered to remove plaque from a copper bowl. The only other metal on the list that I haven't tried is chrome. The instructions for use state that the product should be applied directly to the surface to be polished with a soft cloth. Rub thoroughly, then dry and buff with another soft cloth. Repeat the steps until the desired result is achieved. The polish has a rather runny lotion-like consistency, so it can be a bit messy when applied. You want to work with small amounts. We only used it for copper. Polishing requires a lot of rubbing to polish it. The husband spent three extended uses with microfiber towels. He was completely exhausted and tired of trying. Unfortunately, the polish didn't remove the tarnish in these three polishes, so I'll look for something that doesn't require as much work. Nevertheless, it shone well on the piece of copper that had not yet tarnished. Perhaps its usefulness lies more in the area of conservation than restoration. I've read other reviews that said it will eventually work if you have the patience to keep polishing it. Neither my husband nor I have patience let alone energy. If you're looking for a tarnish remover, you'll have to keep looking (unless you have a lot of patience and hands that never get tired). I have definitely used other products that were much easier to work with and gave better results. But if you're looking for something to just keep the brightness of an already shiny piece of copper, this will help. Because copper tarnishes so easily, I personally prefer a product that quickly removes tarnish and adds shine. To be honest I found this product to be more of a nuisance than useful so I wouldn't order again. I'm giving 3 stars because I've learned from other people's feedback that if I keep rubbing and rubbing it will eventually work. It's just not a 5 star product in my book. 5 stars work right away…. Second try max. Third try and still no tarnish removal, can't even comfortably give 4 stars.
