It is not clear from the specs on this page which HDMI cable is required to connect my existing Lenovo ThinkPad laptop to the monitor. Turns out the HDMI to HDMI cable isn't working. The monitor has a DisplayPort HDMI connector, therefore a DisplayPort to HDMI cable is required. This accessory must be ordered when ordering this monitor if you intend to connect a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop with HDMI output. Please note that this comment only applies to using the monitor with a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop with HDMI output. If you are connecting a different brand of laptop or an older ThinkPad with a different output, I suggest calling Lenovo Support to determine which cable you need.
