    This monitor requires an HDMI to DisplayPort cable.

    It is not clear from the specs on this page which HDMI cable is required to connect my existing Lenovo ThinkPad laptop to the monitor. Turns out the HDMI to HDMI cable isn't working. The monitor has a DisplayPort HDMI connector, therefore a DisplayPort to HDMI cable is required. This accessory must be ordered when ordering this monitor if you intend to connect a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop with HDMI output. Please note that this comment only applies to using the monitor with a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop

    Do not buy - my new review

    I bought this monitor as a gift in December and it does not work with any other device. (modern or old)! We have requested a full refund and they are still letting us work on site and send back cheap parts. Defective, missing parts and late payments for 2 months or more. Not to give us a refund. And when you ask for help from people you can't understand. Your money is stolen.

    THE WEBCAM NEVER WORKED. Plus it's cool lol

    So while this can be used as a traditional monitor, don't. Only requires DisplayPort, no HDMI, which isn't a deal breaker, but I was never able to get the webcam to work. "Camera not found" 0xA00F4244. The instructions are useless and the lack of a webcam is too expensive. The speakers and the picture are really excellent, so I'm in no hurry to return.

    HDMI to DP is good for me

    For all the folks complaining about not being able to find an adapter or cable for this monitor, the specs clearly say it's a DisplayPort only.     Reviews and customer service are confusing

    We bought this monitor to connect to our own laptop. It took several different cables before we could connect it to the laptop. The website and customer support will say that everything is in one device and not used to connect to another device. However, we have dealt with it with great frustration and persistence.

    Be careful, this product is sold without support and without the required cable. There are too many adapters, plugs and cables that usually need to be supplied by the seller and the manufacturer, and now we have to buy them ourselves.     For anyone who has struggled to find the right cable for this monitor. THIS monitor was designed to work with Lenovo's tiny PC. If you are using this with another computer with an HDMI port, you will need to purchase the correct cable for it. The right cable is HDMI to DP cable adapter, regular DP to HDMI cable will not work.     Connect to a non-Lenovo computer and turn on the webcam

    I am having trouble getting the webcam to work with my HP laptop which is on the dock. After a long search on the Internet, the answer can be found in the operating instructions. If the monitor is connected in DP mode, you absolutely need a USB A to USB B cable for the webcam to work. Once connected, the webcam works flawlessly on the monitor.
