It's a flattering shirt, but it's definitely not sweater material. It's more of a thicker nylon feel. So it's soft, but like stretchy smooth soft, not fuzzy sweater soft. It IS warm.The collar is a small cowl neck. There's not a giant flap of material to situate and it lays nicely.Based on where the seams are, the button detail on the wrist sits on top of your hand, not on the outside of the wrist like I was expecting.As another reviewer mentioned, there is no tag and nothing indicating a front or back. Even the shoulder seams are on the top of the shoulder so those couldn't be used to determine front or back either. I tried it both ways and there was no difference in fit.It is a long sweater. On me, it goes well over my hips so it won't be able to be tucked into pants.For reference, I'm usually an XL/XXL (16/18) with a 42DD chest. I bought this in XL and it is form fitting. If you like a looser fit, size up one size.
