This is a good moisturizer with good ingredients, but it smells. It has a herbal smell which I don't like. It's not strong, but noticeable. To my nose, it's a scent of lavender, honeysuckle, and nut butters.

I have very sensitive skin so lotion is always a risk. This lotion doesn't make my skin burn and a little goes a long way. The problem is the smell. It's absolutely disgusting. There are pleasant undertones, but the main taste is just disgusting.

So if your child has dry skin and you are looking for a hydrating moisturizer, look elsewhere as it is not made for dry skin. I have an odor problem. I don't like scents in children's clothes, this one is too strong, it fades away very quickly, but I feel uncomfortable putting a scent on her.

I love the natural scent of this Earth Baby Moisturizing Lotion! The lotion itself has such a consistency that it's not super thick, but it's not runny either. My son has very bad eczema so I have to put a lot on him to get the moisture he needs for his dry patches. Earth Baby soap is very drying, so this lotion helps bring back moisture lost after washing. I would say if your child has no skin problems this should suit you.
