You should definitely try the trigger mechanism before putting it on.
I put the belt on and it took me five minutes to figure out how to unbuckle it. Each time it gets lighter, but sticks a little. This is a nice belt with a solid construction. Worth the high price. I can recommend it unreservedly, no, because the publication is too difficult to participate. Of course, there are clear instructions for the 15% of us who read the product manual.
