Review on LAMPHUS SolarBlast SBWL26 12W RED White LED Emergency Dash Light [32 Flash Modes] [Adjustable Angle] [Suction Cups] Flashing Warning Strobe Dash Windshield Light For Volunteer Firefighter Vehicles by Prettyboy Capers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth every penny of the extra cost.

My volunteer fire department gave me an XPrite flashlight. I didn't like it for many reasons. So after spending many hours going through all the Revain options, I settled on this one. Here's what I found: 1) Extremely durable all-metal construction. This flashlight is not cheap. It's heavy and that bothered me as I thought it might detach from the suction cups. But so far that hasn't been a problem. This thing is just made strong and durable. 2) Side suction cups are the best design. Putting the suction cups on the side rather than the top gave me a lot more flexibility when installing between my windshield and rearview mirror. 3) The cable is LONG! Absolutely no problem running the cable up the windshield, down the side, under the steering wheel and into the cigarette lighter. In fact, there was even some slack. 4) Suction cups work well. It's only been a day, but that's longer than the XPrite suction cups have lasted. 5) The thin Xprite profile was too deep to fit between my rearview mirror and the windshield. This one fits well in this room. 6) A variety of flash patterns are welcome. I returned XPrite to my department and am sticking with it instead. I'm glad I spent the money.
