Just opened it up and was expecting it to be a light maple finish as pictured. This is not the case when painted with redwood paint. I have to adjust my plan and paint everything white. I just wanted to paint part of it white and make it match the white and pine dining room furniture. This picture wasn't worth more than a thousand words. Finish options were not specified when ordering. When unpacking I grabbed the top part and this is what happened. Should I return it, burn it or restore it?
