So cute in my fridge and saves me time and money!

I love this damn thing! My husband and I only drink cold coffee. We used to rely on a cold brew machine that pumped water across the floor and took 45 minutes to brew 6 cups of coffee. With my husband working 6 days a week and drinking at least 32 ounces in the morning, it has become difficult for me to spend an entire day making 2 gallons and popping them into a jug in the fridge every few days. Now I need about 3 minutes. This glass cooler will last a few days. I'll tell you a little secret. It was a HUGE trial and error figuring out exactly how to use this. If you already know this, then move on. one). The filter inside does NOT support fine ground coffee (pre-ground from most places). You will need a ground course or a whole bean. Otherwise you will end up with sand in your cup. There are things like tea bags that can be used but I was uncomfortable ordering them as I live in a small town and couldn't find empty bags anywhere. I also wanted to save myself another issue.2). When you use whole beans it's a whole new world of art to get a decent coffee strength and it took me about 3 days to get it. I may have gotten it wrong, but at this point I was done experimenting. 3). I appreciate coarse ground coffee and it's more expensive than whole grain or fine ground coffee. Strange! So I found that I can quickly grind whole beans myself (it takes about 30 seconds) and I use 18 ounces of whole beans, grind them up in a small food processor (this way I can make a lot at once and a good batch). Then scoop it into the filter, fill it up with cold water and put it in the fridge overnight. He's ready for the morning! Also, I would recommend hand washing it with cold water only (with soap of course). It's glass and spends most of its life in the fridge. I've read a lot of reviews about people breaking easily and I'm wondering if it was the different water temperatures. Mine isn't cracked or wobbling anyway. Hope that helps!
