Works great as a short switch. An absolute pain to install properly. I had to use equipment other than the ones provided, even then it was almost impossible to install. It would be easier in a shop, but still possible in a driveway with the right fitting equipment and experience with your vehicle. (Personally I did mine in my driveway. Had to get another retaining clip as the one provided was too small and couldn't be installed in a tight space. Even though the space wasn't that tight I couldn't get the clip provided .clip on)
