Poorly designed base - breaks easily
The base broke within the first few weeks of purchase. During this time I only held the iPad in my hand three times, but otherwise didn't use it much. The base is made of plastic and surrounds the adjustable metal core rod and is very brittle due to its construction. I know what's left to change so I can use what's left.
