so everything works for the price and what you get great buy. Advantages. can be used as a webcam with a resolution of 1080 x 720. comes with 2 batteries and can be USB charged at the same time (cannon, why can't you do that, it's less than $60!) Digital zoom works in webcam mode, it's good. Light weight. Disadvantages. This is fixed focus camera, so face recognition is nice but useless. it is infinity focused at about 2 feet from the lens. Auto white exposure lags, but that's to be expected in this price range. It worked in webcam mode, but not. In this price range I like it and I didn't know when I bought it that I could use it as a webcam so will soon like it on my Octo Pi set up on a 3D printer for time lapse.
