We have an 11-storey building with 85 apartments that have air conditioners and water heaters in closets with common corridors. We have tried various leak detectors and found this to be the best. It's easy to set up, you just download the app and add a device by scanning a barcode. The hub was just as easy to set up. A hub could contact the sensor on all 11 floors. We have a hub connected to the router and it stays connected all the time. I also tried using WiFi and it was easy to set up. What I like about this sensor is that it has a built in siren compared to the original sensor. It's loud enough to be heard outside the closet if there's a leak. Even if the internet goes down, you still have a siren to alert you. Email notifications were sent immediately when we tested it. Also set up an echo point to make a pre-test announcement if there is a problem. There is great tech support and Eric was great at answering my questions. We are awaiting approval to install all 85 units.
