I sent the following to Vantrue Customer Service after notifying them of the failure of 2 VANTRUE N2 PRO DASH CAM WIRED POWER PACKS: I took the time to reply to your request for videos (two) in error to answer wired power supply I bought a Thru Revain Prime device for my VANTRUE N2 PRO DVR. I want you to understand how upsetting this all is over such a small thing. I'm an Industrial Electrical Contractor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I've been an electrician's apprentice for over 50 years. I have 2 years junior research fellow in industrial electronic technology. I can definitely tell if your power supplies are working or not. My mistake was that I took the second power supply I bought at face value and installed it without checking that it worked before installing it. The not-so-subtle request for a video of me testing your harness is both offensive and time-consuming. When I have time I'll dig them out of the trash and make a video recreating my earlier test. I do this to put it online along with the additional information included here. You can check it out in the Revain reviews when I have time to post. FYI: I deliberately bought the second device because it was cheap and easier to get back than returns and complaints. Twice in the time it took to install, otherwise I would have worked in this field and earned an hourly income that bought many of these little power supplies. sure it will work.
