I chose this mount for my Benq 3550 mainly because I needed an (advertised) 8.6" spacing to fit my screen without keystone correction . Once I got close to 9 inches, everything was attached. I had to get other screws besides the ones that came with it, but that's what I expected. My local hardware store had what I needed. The round part of the mount had 4 (instead of 3) spiral grooves, which allowed me to mount the projector very close to its center of gravity. I still had to tilt the projector

, it was easy to assemble and matched my projector perfectly. I think its smart design will allow to customize different projector mounting hole patterns. It has a solid construction and allows you to easily adjust the projector's orientation. Update 6/11/18: This thing worked fine for me, but it's time to say goodbye. I upgraded my projector over the weekend and unfortunately this bracket will not fit the new larger projector. I also downgraded a star as my attempt to contact Amer to inquire about acquiring new support weapons/equipment was not as successful as I would have liked. However, the hardware is solid.
