IF I can take the filter out of the packaging it works very well. opportunity to separate them. I've tried two different devices designed to extract the same filter from the packaging but to no avail. One filter pack had a very severe crease at the bottom which resulted in the loss of at least half the pack as the filter was torn when attempting to remove it from the pack. I will continue to use these filters as the extra height allows for enough space. so as not to flood the area. I love strong coffee and use just over 3/4 cup of coffee for a ten cup recipe. No other filter I've tried can handle that amount of coffee.
