I am not usually a review writer but, in special cases I do. I bought the heart embossed journal to write about my heart valve surgery I had to get done. The journal is perfect. The leather is very soft and easy to tie off without little shreds of leather getting everywhere. It smells great too. The pages are easy to write on and are sectioned off into 5 sections. So I can write about (in my case) before surgery, hospital stay, and post-op. If u r thinking about it- get it. It’s the only journal that I actually write in everyday. It’s just a little warm & cozy thing.
