Review on Portable acoustics Marshall Woburn II, 130 W, black by Kenji Viray Tsuchida ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

I bought a black one in November 2022 for 24000. Plays through bt. It plays strange out of the box, not everything can be adjusted with the available knobs, so you definitely need to install the application and set up the local equalizer, by the way, you can turn off some of the system sounds there. Initially, I didn’t really like the sound, but I put up with it, for the most part because the speaker is above head level and the bass presses hard, which of course is the wrong acoustics setting, but I don’t have a choice at the moment. Later, I decided to fight the problem of too evil bass and found a solution for myself that is really only suitable for iphone owners: set the equalizer "rock" on the column (I'm not sure if it will work with others, I haven't checked, because rock is my preferred setting), and on the iphone itself, in the music settings, select the "late night" equalizer. Bass seems to be in place, but they no longer kill the listener, voila. Androids - seek and you shall find. At the moment, the sound suits me perfectly. Reviews of people who think that for this money they bought serious acoustics are amusing. You need to understand that in this case it is more a beautiful and loud toy than a serious technique. If the speaker is faced with the task of streaming music loudly via bluetooth from your phone, then everything is OK - take it. If you want all the richness of sound, then welcome to the hi-fi party, where you will experience all the pains of choice and other joys of life. It's also funny to read about the fact that at the highest volume something plays wrong there. Acoustics does not work like that, all the pulp and details of the sound lie somewhere in the middle of the volume + -15%. Higher volume only exists to torment neighbors and pets

Pros
  • - appearance - volume
Cons
  • - without the application most of the settings can not be seen - may require fine tuning by frequency - poor equipment
