We have been using automatic sensor night lights in our home for over 10 years. We started with lamp blocks and eventually switched to LEDs as technology changed. I have to say these Vont LED night lights are my favorite so far. The unique rounded square shape adds a bit of character, and I love the fact that while the light is nice and bright, it has a matte quality, giving it a warmer, softer, diffused style that's especially pleasing to the eye much more comfortable when you wake up in the middle of the night. If I had one complaint it was that the ambient light sensor (which turns the lights on at night) isn't sensitive enough and will turn on the night light even when the lights are off. In my basement I found that I had to move the night light because although it seemed to me that there was enough light during the day, there wasn't enough light hitting the sensor to turn off the night light because it was on a darker corner of the room. The device is very lightweight and easily plugs into an outlet, leaving another outlet unobstructed and easily accessible. In the interests of full disclosure, a packet of these was sent to me free of charge in exchange for an honest review. That being said I would buy another pack in a heartbeat if I needed more night lights.
