Bought at what appears to be a reduced price. This model does NOT have a voice search function in case you are wondering. We keep an eye on Roku all the time. Navigation works quickly, there are almost no lags. The video quality is excellent. Setup was easy. I found the LAN connection to work significantly better than Wi-Fi. Download times are much faster over LAN and Wi-Fi speeds tend to be less consistent. So if a wired connection is possible, it's worth connecting. Compared to other streaming video players, ROKU is definitely the best. They have the widest range of channels and we never have to worry about unsubscribing from Roku, unlike the Wii and our Sony Blu-Ray player. A word of caution: beware of auto-ending channels. Netflix usually asks you to press a button after it automatically plays 3 episodes of a series in a row. One day we were watching a YouTube video and turned off the TV, and the next day we found it was still auto-playing video after video. It wasn't a big deal for us, but if you're worried about using up too much data, just make sure you press the HOME button before turning your TV off at night. We've found that we like Roku a lot more than cable and have saved hundreds of dollars over the past year. Definitely a great option if you're not a sports fan!
