Review on C2G USB Hub - Convenient 2 Port Black USB Hub by Cables to Go 29525 by Curtis Nice

I bought the previous version of this hub and found it very good (http://www.amazon.com/Cables-To-Go-Port-USB /dp /B000IZDN60/ ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1357224743&sr=8-13&keywords=usb+2.0+hub) The previous version was solid metal, a perfect fit and beautifully finished, and worked flawlessly for over three years. They could hammer in nails. Since I needed a different hub, I bought a "newer version". It's thin and poorly made from cheap materials. The box says "CablesToGo" but the hub inside is branded "Trulink". I don't know if I received a counterfeit product or if the CablesToGo brand was sold to a lower standard company, but I am returning this plastic item. Garbage.
