Judging by the reviews before buying this computer it seems that buying a refurbished device is a bummer. Well I hit the jackpot. The car itself looks like new. Not a single flaw or signs of wear. Even the nicely grooved trackpad looked like it had never been touched, and there was no airflow on the fan. I had to update Windows, but that's to be expected since Microsoft releases new updates all the time. With 8 GB of RAM and an SSD drive, it quickly runs out. It literally takes seconds from pressing the power button to logging in. At this price I would have expected it to be older than it is. I went to the HP website and put in the serial number and it showed the machine as is. Manufactured in 2015. A note. I'm having a problem creating a recovery drive for Windows 10. It fails in about 15 minutes. However, after installing all available updates, I was able to build it. I used an old 8GB USB 2 flash drive and it took about 35 minutes to make. If you use a USB 3 drive, the time will be significantly reduced. The car is a little heavy, but it's designed for executives who travel a lot. Nothing wobbly in the car. If you need a fast laptop, this is the place for you.
