I used these as part of a complete exhaust system replacement, attaching a new exhaust manifold to a new downpipe. The installation was more than trivial. The long screws included in this kit are not tapered, making them difficult to screw into the headstock threads. Add to this cramped working conditions and holding 4 things with two hands and you have a great time. I suspect if the screws were slightly tapered on the ends then installation would be a lot easier. with kit. On the RAV-4, the exhaust manifold is threaded, eliminating the need for nuts.
