Update after 3 months of use: Will buy again if needed. As mentioned, the smell is less than desirable when you receive them. They have worked great for moving all household clothes, bedding etc, shopping at IKEA (because I always feel like buying larger items), using in a boat and using items like beach towels, life jackets, life jackets and beach balls etc .haven't exploded far, and the plastic material makes them even better. Much better than using plastic bags because they fold up almost nothing and I keep them in a large zipped pocket when not in use. I think they would be good for camping. Everyone has their own bag. Mine has held up well, I have had no further problems with this purchase. As many other reviewers have said, they have an extremely strong chemical smell. The first time I used it, I opened the zipper and found it was broken. I've reinstalled it back and forth and it fixed itself. I can see some gaps and holes where the piece was sewn together. For me, this was a purchase I was ready for, except for the flaws that previous buyers have spoken about. I need them for a move and don't want to use garbage bags for large items like blankets, pillows, etc. They are much easier to transport in these bags than in trash cans, bags and boxes. I think these bags would be awesome for storing paper targets, camping supplies like sleeping bags, beach towels, hammocks and other miscellaneous items. I'll be using a few of these for outdoor holiday wreaths to keep the dust out. The possibilities are endless as to how you can use them. I agree with other reviewers that I wouldn't store fabric items in it for long periods of time as they seem to absorb the smell. UPDATE - in 2 days. I sprayed every Febreeze bag HARD. The bags don't smell at all.
