Much better design than most pumps on the market. I've been using mine for 2 years now and was just rethinking it. I use it to pump out a small amount of old gas from the many small and large gas engines on my farms so I can have fresh gas anywhere. Hasn't started leaking yet which has been a big problem with many other cheaper pumps I've bought. Others are locked when a blade breaks. I have paid much higher prices for pumps that have lasted much less time. As with most portable pumps, life is greatly reduced due to the weight of the hoses, pump and pumped liquid pulling down on the impeller shaft bearings, so I mount all my pumps on a board and run them with a high speed motor installed Cordless drill for portability.
