It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

I bought it in August 11, I changed it three times (how long I stood in line for a separate topic for reviewing the store), as a result, I took the last copy to the service due to the lack of sharpness. The sharpness of the resulting image is unacceptable at all focal lengths over 90mm, it turns out that this is a healthy heavy lens with working focal lengths of 70-90 without a stabilizer and for more than $500, but you can forget about 90-300, because. detailing is comparable to zooming in photoshop. The company service gave a conclusion about full serviceability, despite the fact that the lens has a floating front focus (tested on four carcasses). The service refused to repair, said that there were no defects. The Tamron representation seems to have undertaken to help in solving the problem, but so far there are 0 results. If you want to buy a bucket of lenses, then this is what you need!

Pros
  • Looks solid Focus and zoom rings work nicely
Cons
  • The sharpness is disgusting . there is a floating FF depending on the distance to the focus object, the farther the more FF. Tested on a55, a550, a580, a77 (correction +2+3 units)
