Review on Premium Handcrafted Leather Watch Strap | Carved Embossed Band with Stainless Steel Black Buckle | Available in 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm by Ameen Bethea

I bought one of these straps in black and was going to buy another because I really liked the first one but they weren't black and it was hard to tell if they were it would be sold out again, I bought this one in red. These straps are genuine leather, rust and aged red, and they complement my polished stainless steel Panerai perfectly! I was concerned about the "worn" look of the strap and the "new" polished look of the watch, but they're perfectly compatible. The bands come with a plastic spring insert that will probably fit any watch, but I removed it to add a stainless steel insert. Oddly enough, the plastic inserts popped out of the black band with no problem, but removing the plastic inserts from the red band wasn't easy. And this leads to two differences between the black and red straps that I noticed, as mentioned, the plastic inserts were much more difficult to remove from the red strap, and the red strap is noticeably thinner than the black strap. Still perfectly acceptable, but if I had a choice I'd go for slightly thicker leather on the black strap. With all of this, the quality and price of these harnesses is an absolute plus! I'm very glad I took a chance and bought one before they left but at this price you really can't go wrong.
