I love this knee pad! I've tried literally every other brand and this is by far the best. Firstly, the cover is a velvety material that makes sleeping better than others. Second, the stiffness to softness ratio of the foam liner is literally perfect (I honestly didn't even think it was possible after so many tries!). The best way to describe the density is that it's not too hard (which gets uncomfortable very quickly and causes you to throw away your pillow in the middle of the night), but not too soft either (which causes your knees to crush it). makes it useless in the morning). Also, I thought I hate the strap, but I actually like that my pillow moves a lot less at night when I use it. FYI: You can completely ignore the strap if you like (since it's made of the same velvety soft material as the case) and you won't notice it or feel uncomfortable just sitting there. I did it the first night and didn't feel it at all.
