Review on 🚴 Adjustable Height Indoor Cycling and Standing Desk - Wahoo KICKR Multi-Purpose by James Pope

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great price but helps despite LOTS of design flaws

Pros:+ Bearings and wheels spin very smoothly and quietly.+ Desk slides out a lot higher than I thought it would be. I have very high settings on my tri-bike.+ The table goes even higher without clicking to the preset height, ie when you hold it up: This allows me to lift the table over the elbow rests and tuck the table over the bike. which allows the whole plant to be stored very compactly. If the table had to stay in front of my bike all the time, it would take up too much space. Cons: - The price, obviously. After failing to build my own DIY gym table I gave up and threw the money away. Too many disappointments. It took 5 minutes to order and 15 minutes to install. I would definitely spend more time building my own department. But in my opinion the home run price would be $125 and the sell price would be $99. I just don't see many people buying it for $229+, but maybe that's the case. I don't like the tricycle design. It tilts towards the two front corners when you press on the table. I would have preferred a 4 wheel design placed at each 'corner' (remove the beveled edges at the front). Stupid. You should connect an extension cord to this table along with USB charging ports. And you need to figure out how to do that, because Wahoo hasn't developed any features to support it. I wish there was a built in cable management system. Mobile slots are completely useless if you have a case on your device. They don't fit in slots. Stupid - shelves for towels are at the front edge of the table. You're too far away, and if you can reach that far, you'll topple everything on the table. They should be on the back edges for easy access. Stupid. - The table is very shaky. Shakes strongly to the sides. For this price I expect better. - Although it didn't take that long to install - there were only a few parts to assemble - there were no instructions! I've tried attaching the top and bottom guides separately and found that they won't connect unless you take them completely apart and put them back together in a different order. It's annoying for once, but it's stupid. - I had to find 3mm and 5mm hex wrenches to assemble it. After assembly, when I threw away the packaging, I noticed there were wrenches built into the foam. I was stupid this time! Other: The tabletop has good non-slip texture. However, it gets pretty messy. I care about durability. The packaging is very good. Lots of styrofoam to keep the pieces from jumping around and lots of bubble wrap to keep it from scratching.
