It is VERY PRACTICAL. The knee is conveniently tucked away and well protected from the weather/ground. They were too big for me (I'm 5ft 4in, 118ft) so I had to return them but I tried them on a couple of times hoping they would fit me. The knee area is SUPER flexible and supportive, extremely comfortable and the fit adjustment accommodates different leg widths. (While they were too high for my feet, the fit adjustment was great for my feet and left plenty of room.) LOVE IT, just wish they were in a miniature/short version for those of us with vertical issues :-)
