I'm allergic to cats but I still have a Siamese mix. Siamese and neighboring Siamese breeds like Burmese, Balinese, etc. are known to produce less Fel D1 protein (allergy-causing protein) in their saliva and skin, so these Oriental breeds are good for people with mild illnesses. to moderate allergies like me. However, if I touch it frequently and then touch my face before washing my hands, I can still get an allergic reaction that includes wheezing and a runny nose. It is of course easy to manage. I only wash my hands often and take allergy pills like Zyrtec if I still have symptoms. To be honest, I don't think it's worth the effort. Wouldn't you rather feed your cat what she really enjoys eating (for my cat it's Nutro and Royal Canin) than what's just comfortable for you? I think it might be ok if your cat really likes the food, but if she doesn't like it and eats it just because it's the only thing you gave her, then it's unethical to force her to eat . eat what is good for you. I'd rather take an allergy pill every day than deprive my cat of something she likes better than this food. Of course it's tasty enough, but when I put two plates of different kibble next to each other, she decides Nutro or Royal Canin. That tells me this food tastes mediocre. Be a responsible person. Take an allergy pill and feed your cat something healthy instead.
