Very soft and comfortable - I had to throw them away after the first wash.
The blanket was very soft with moderate loss of material. until washed. Followed the directions on the label and was dismayed at the results. Almost the entire surface of the quilt was covered with loose balls of down that would take hours to remove. Tried to wash and re-dry as instructed but to no avail. We ended up throwing it in the trash as it would have done nothing but discard the material if we hadn't taken the trouble to carefully select thousands of tufts of down.
