Cute, easy to layer if you like a messy bun

It's cute! I was concerned they would break based on other reviews, but I've used them several times and have had no issues with them breaking or refusing to return to their (mostly) original condition when I unwrapped them. They are easy to use. Convince yourself and watch the video. At first, I always tried to roll my hair up, not under it (the old donuts twisted it up). Curling is a lot easier, especially if you have layered hair (like mine). My hair starts at about the top of the bra in the back, but the layers around my face are slightly longer than my shoulders, but mostly stay in. I put my hair through the hole and start curling it about 3/4. down then slide it down a bit after twisting it a few times to get all the hair. When I get to the top I just cross the sides to create an arch effect and I'm done. Also works on wet hair. My resulting buns are a bit messy, but I like them - I think it's modern rather than perfectly smooth. However when I really need them straight I can use them on wet hair and they stay in place very well and stay very straight. They don't put too much pressure on my hair like ponytail holders, but they are very secure - they stay in place all day. Personally, I find them more useful than any other product I've found for creating a bun. They don't add volume, but they look better than just stilettos (less rigid, more fun). I'm happy with it (and you get a lot of it, so feel free to share it if you like). Fwiw, I have curly/wavy very fine hair that is difficult to manage unless I use dry shampoo or it's hair on the second or third day. It stays in them and I don't get a headache at the end of the day.
