What I like best, however, is the analog temperature control. This is a particularly useful feature. It is very useful to be able to lower the temperature (and within a significant range) to avoid charring the heat shrink tubing. Also, I sometimes change the film on some of my lithium batteries (18650, 21700). This allows me to break open the outer shell without fear of inadvertently triggering a so-called thermal runaway. Accessories also allow me to focus the heat when needed. I love this little thing. Pro: Useful accessories. Wide range of heat level settings. Compact and easy to use. Adjustable airflow (only two settings but still useful). Cons: Can't see. Thoughts: All the accessories that it comes with expand the range of use. From the diffuser to the focusing nozzles to the deflector. VERY nice fittings. I recently purchased several single pitch wire connectors that combine heat shrink tubing with low temp solder in one connector. It will be PERFECT for this application. I see it being used happily for a long time.
