Even though I do not have a good musical ear, I can tell that the sound is of a great quality and that there is always the appropriate amount of loudness. It's been a while since I've worn headphones, so I don't have anything to compare them to. These are the first ones I've ever used, and while the noise cancellation does its job and can be perceived, switching modes frequently is required whenever you encounter background noise. I am unable to state that they are a perfect fit in the ear canals. I wasn't expecting the battery to last as long as it does and charge so rapidly, both in the headphones and in the case; as a result, it surprises me that it lasts for three days, during which time I can view movies for approximately a third of that time. Although it appears to be of great quality, I find it difficult to remove it from the case because it is so small.
