My daughter had one 39 years ago. She loved this business very much. For hours she just jumped up and down and waved her arms while we did all the housework. Now she is a politician. It is indeed a difficult task. Everything is made to last. If my grandson saves it, it will still work fine for my great-grandchildren. Before installing, I was afraid that it might come loose and fall off, but it was in vain. The clip that goes on the door upholstery has a very strong spring. Strong enough that some people need help to open it to install it. It fits a standard 2-1/4 inch door trim, but not a much wider one. We live in an old house with a lot of doors that have 6 inch moldings and it doesn't match those doors at all. The spring is strong enough to support the tallest child. Lots of adjustments to get them at the right distance from the ground. The seat slides in and out of the child easily, but is securely fastened with straps to keep the child in place while they play. It needs to be assembled, it consists of several parts. It's easy and no tools are required. The directions are short but good enough. I look forward to my grandson using it when he is big enough.
