The kit has everything you need except sandpaper and sealer but it has everything you need to get started. The paint chipped easily so I bought a sealer. There were a few spots torn and I had to keep layering it but I think I'll sand, repaint and seal it. The part that cracked was the cabinet above the stove. The heat may have dried it to the point of cracking as I haven't sealed it yet due to drying but my son did when I let it dry before sealing. Also, the paint color looks more white than cream. You can switch to the next color for cream. If necessary, contact the manufacturer for instructions. But I enjoy my closets. The cabinets look creamy in this photo but are actually lighter. I need to touch up some areas. I have a 1 year old grandson who just started walking and loves opening closets. If you can leave them intact, your cabinets may be perfect as the paint will chip off if lightly hit by another cabinet. seal it.
