These items are very easy to use thanks to the secure locking/unlocking mechanism. It is very good to have several colors for different grits. Easily switch from one activity to another and complete your project faster. They feel great in hand. The only problem I had was trying to wet the fine grit sand and get a little suction between the work piece and the sanding block. I don't have enough experience with other blocks to give an idea, but I expect you'll run into the same dilemma. Overall well built and easy to use.
